Thats it...just let the mystery be. I finally got back to a high school buddy of mine tonight who posted recently a poignant piece about his cancer. We are pretty close in age, and since that piece hes been sharing music videos he likes. I share a very close appreciation for the songs, too. But anyway, it took me days to respond. I wasnt sure what to say. Im still not, but he sure gave me some things to consider. Actually, Im already doing what he was told, which was to live a simple life and avoid over exertion. Just what I try to do. Of course, I have a thing about waking up early, usually about 4ish a.m. to get a start on my day. Before those days are gone. I, like my buddy Keith, like Iris DeMent and had the fortune to see her at Liberty Hall in Lawrence quite a few years ago. I get it why Keith chose this song in many music postings hes done this week. I may not have been able to respond to him, but I was checking out the music as I would have been doing back in our day...
