The 64th Annual Frederick W. Reynolds Lecture Continuing Education and The Office of Engagement Present: Under the Air: An Exploration of Utahs Air Quality January 14, 2015 | 7:00 PM | Aline Skaggs Auditorium, room 220 The lecture is free and open to the public. Refreshments & desserts to follow. This is a panel discussion examining Utahs poor winter air quality from different perspectives. Our panel speakers are: Dave Whiteman, atmospheric scientist at the U. He will discuss his recent research about Salt Lakes climate and winter particulates. Michelle Hofmann, associate professor at the University Hospital. She will adderss the health effects of our winter air quality. Ryan Evans, VP of Business and Community Relations with the Salt Lake City Chamber of Commerce. He will address the economic impact of Utahs air quality. Matt Pacenza, policy director for HEAL Utah, will provide some insight into air quality legislation. A Q&A period and a reception will follow the lecture.
