The Advocate All-Ireland Business Law Challenge (top prize €2,000) Entries for the The Advocate All-Ireland Business Law Challenge close on 9 February. UCD students have a good track record since the competition began in 2010: for example, in 2011/12 all four semi-finalists were from UCD and Julia Lawlor and Gregory Benson won the competition and in 2012/13 five of the eight teams that went through to the quarter-finals were from UCD and James Coleman and Ciara McManus were the overall runners-up. We hope that our students continue this good performance this year! Run by McCann FitzGerald in association with the Courts Service and the Northern Ireland Courts and Tribunals Service, the competition is one of the main shop-windows for students to display how they can seamlessly integrate legal and business skills. theadvocate.ie/
