Also noteworthy that the accusations by some Afghans, that womens rights activists are Americans, seem to mirror the accusations made of many Western feminists, of their being imperialist/right-wing. All this obscures the natural alliance between imperialist and misogynist forces that continues to oppress women around the world, including in Afghanistan.
