Josh Krstulovich put himself in scoring position with two extra-base hits for the Brampton Royals Florida. He singled in the first inning and doubled in the third and fifth innings. Nick Virdo got the win for the Brampton Royals 16U. He tossed four innings of shutout ball. He struck out four, walked two and surrendered four hits. Christian Alves, Zachary Fascia, Josh and Jake Wyant helped lead the Brampton Royals Florida. They combined for seven hits and four RBIs. The Brampton Royals 16U scored three runs in the third inning, and then followed it up with three more in the fifth. In the third, the Brampton Royals 16U scored on an error, scoring Christian. The Brampton Royals brought home one run in the fourth inning, and matched that run total in the sixth. In the fourth, the Brampton Royals scored on an RBI double by Nick, plating Jake. Three runs in the top of the fifth helped Suncoast Select close its deficit to 7-3. An RBI single by Mencloz, an error, and set off Suncoast Select rally. The Brampton Royals stopped the rally after Jeremiah Tadeo got the next batter to strike out. A three-run sixth inning helped bring Suncoast Select within four. An RBI single by Flowers and a two-run double by Trelor fueled Suncoast Select s comeback. Finally, Jeremiah induced an inning-ending ground out from Starry. One run in the top of the seventh helped Suncoast Select close its deficit to 12-7. An RBI single by Mencloz gave Suncoast Select life. Jeremiah got the last out, as the final Suncoast Select hitter flew out.
