The Central Florida Defensive Pistol Association is proud to announce that it will be hosting the 2013 Citrus Challenge on Saturday, November 2, 2013 at the Central Florida Rifle and Pistol Club in Orlando, Florida! This will be the third Citrus Challenge and we are continuing our tradition of putting on the best one day sanctioned IDPA match in the southeast. The match will be a Tier 3 Sanctioned IDPA Match, and one of the first sanctioned matches governed by the new 2013 Rulebook. There will be 10 stages (plus an equipment/chrono stage), lunch, awards ceremony and prize drawings, all on one fall Saturday in Central Florida. The match fee is $110. If you would like a match T-Shirt, you can purchase one at the time of registration for $15. Lunch is provided as part of your match fee. However, if you will be bringing guests and need to purchase additional lunches, they are available at the time of registration for $10 each. All of the match fees, T-shirt fees and extra lunch fees are inclusive of Florida State Sales Tax. This year, all match registration will be done at the Citrus Challenge Website, cfrpc/citruschallenge.html. From here, you can click on the Match Information tab to get additional information about the match. The News tab will contain the latest match news. To Register, click on the Match Registration tab. The match is limited to 132 shooters, and is open to current IDPA members, 18 years or older, who have classified as MARKSMAN OR ABOVE in their division, and who have shot a classifier (or who have been promoted at a sanctioned match) IN THE DIVISION IN WHICH THEY ARE REGISTERED FOR THE MATCH within one year prior to November 2, 2013. After you complete the registration form, you will be directed to PayPal to pay for any fees. You do not need to have a PayPal account if you just want to pay by credit card. Registrations with outstanding balances will be deleted after 10:00 p.m. each night. If you have any problems with registration, please DO NOT register multiple times. Instead, please send an email to the Match Registrar, Ernie Myers, at registrar.cc@gmail. Safety Officers and Staff need an authorization code in advance to register. The Match Director, Karl Redinger, will be providing those codes to people he authorizes to work the match. Please do not register on the Friday SO Squad (Squad 21) or the Thursday Senior Staff Squad (Squad 31) unless you have been approved to work the match. We expect that the match will sell out. When this happens, you will still be able to register to get on the waiting list. The waiting list will be automatically administered on a first come first served basis. You will not have to pay to get on the waiting list. If you register for the waiting list, please make sure you select Squad 99 (Waiting List), and not one of the squads for Safety Officers or Staff. If someone cancels their registration, the first person on the waiting list will receive an email advising them that they have been taken off the waiting list and instructing them to change their squad and pay their fees. We will give an appropriate amount of time for that payment to be made. There will be trophies for High Senior, High Distinguished Senior, High Lady, High Industry, High Press, High International, High Military and High Law Enforcement. Please select any of these special categories at the time of registration. If the category is not marked on your registration, then you will not be in the running for any of those awards. On the Match Registration page, there is a link to the match registration form. Additional instructions appear above the form. Please read the instructions carefully. At the bottom of the page, there will be a sortable list of the match participants. From this list, you can easily see who is on what squad, and who is shooting in your division and class. Registration for the Citrus Challenge will open on August 1, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. (EDT). We look forward to seeing you in November!
