The Department of Veterans Affairs paid a combined $36.4 million - TopicsExpress

The Department of Veterans Affairs paid a combined $36.4 million to settle at least 167 cases related to delays in medical treatment, a new report alleges. The embattled agency — which has been criticized in recent months for a failure to treat veterans promptly — made the payments since 2001 either voluntarily or as the result of court actions; the VA hospital has been hiding the facts about appointment waiting time for a long time , its nothing new . Here is another tid bite you may not know.. Dr. Robert Petzel, who resigned was already going to retire this year and Obama already has someone he picked for that position .The secret waiting list in Phoenix was part of an elaborate scheme designed by Veterans Affairs managers there who were trying to hide that 1,400 to 1,600 sick veterans were forced to wait months to see a doctor, Of course they are going to play the blame game now that it is out in the open . stay tuned ..for more media coverups , lies and excuses ..
