The Enterprises Aztec Scheme. When the NCC-1701 Enterprise was refitted for its first motion picture, the painting scheme was full of pearlescent shades and slight metallics. And in the subsequent movies, the pattern evolved depending on the Effects companies handling the job. There was no accurate description of the painting scheme and eventually, it was called the Aztec Patttern or Scheme which is a generic term for all the interference patterns for every Starfleet Starship. When building models, it is very common for modelers to get their Aztec patterns as accurate as possible. It was not until Roy Gariepys link which showed what could be the Holy Grail for all Aztec patterns for the NCC01701A. Enjoy, my fellow Trekker Friends....
