The FNC Cricket Academy will be running the very 1st FNC Girls Cricket Academy @ Woodlawn on the 10th and 24th November from 9am to 12pm. The Far North Coast area has a rich history of producing some of Australia’s finest cricketing talent, such as: Lyn Larsen, Angela Reakes and Sammy Jo Johnson. The number of girls playing cricket are increasing and FNC, along with the North Coast Zone Academy program, want to keep girls playing cricket and continuing to dominate like the recent victories by our U15 and Opens girls at the Country Championships. North Coast Zone Academy Assistant Coach (Female) & Regional Academy Coach (Boys), Michael Wood will be providing a crack team of level 2 coaches and specialist coaches to increase the skills and game awareness for any girls interested between the ages of 10 and 15. There will be a number of Female U13, U14 and U15 representative sides selected for games in January 2014 and this will provide a nice opportunity for girls to impress selectors and hone their skills before then. Cost will be $100 for the 2 days (or $50 per day) FNC Scorchers uniform will be extra. Registration Forms are available in the menu under FNC Cricket Academy For further information please contact Michael Wood Far North Coast (Male) Regional Academy Coach North Coast Zone (Female) Assistant Coach Mobile: 0427299409
