The Gods are smiling down on me today. Though I started my morning with some sadness, as this is my last day with my employer, I just learned that my security clearance readjudication has concluded favorably, even though the bizzaro Prednisoneside effects that I experienced could have destroyed my life and livelihood. I have known all along that I would bounce back, but with this good news, I have found a a renewed sense of optimism about whatever may come next. Though I have been experiencing pesky health problems since the beginning of the year, which ultimately resulted in me losing a position that I absolutely loved, I am finally feeling back to my old self physically and mentally, to include having my voice back - finally!! Watch out Lils – the drill sergeant is back in action! And watch out world - I am back in th saddle and ready to ride.... Thanks to all of my friends and family for your support and encouragement. Anything that I am - or ever will be - is directly attributable to having so many amazing people in my life. Peole who give me renewed strength when I am feeling stressed or anxious. And of course - thank you God for helping me find my way through dark times. Without my faith, and without your steadfast presence in my life, I dont know where Id be. Love to all.
