The J49 Project-Fuji Rock Festival Edition is now in its third year with proceeds going to Benefit for Nippon, a charity that supports the displaced families in Fukushima region. All of the bands who play the main stage (this year included names like Jack Johnson, Arcade Fire, Franz Ferdinand, The Lumineers, and many others) sign a J49 each night which is then auctioned. Generous transportation support was provided by Scandinavian Living Company - Tokyo - Kobe - Denmark. The J49 Project was created in 2012 by FREDERICIA in an effort to help our friends in Japan after the devastation of the Great Tohoku Earthquake and Tsunami and has also supported the Japan Red Cross.
