The Journey so far... - Firecom Aerosol Fire Extinguishers & Soteria Throwable/ Kitchen Extinguishers. Change...they say is the only constant thing in life. But make no mistake, those who seek to bring change never find it easy. That has been my lots and journey since 4years...trying to introduce my eco-friendly, user-friendly, modern fire suppression products into the Nigerian market. First hurdle was getting the relevant regulatory bodies (Nigerian Federal Fire Service, S.O.N, FRSC, Lagos State Safety Commission) to endorse and certify the products. Next was the logistics of educating captains of industries/multinationals, training technical staffs, producing flyers/product brochures, and ultimately putting the products into peoples hands even sometimes at no profits....severally as complementary gifts! But today, the story is changing for better. Demand is becoming far more than supply. Even though not yet a household name, we are gradually getting there as work/supply orders are putting my technical team on their toes. Indeed, apart from those productive years I served as a Religious Volunteer worker at the Watchtower HQ in Edo State, Nigeria; helping people & companies breath safety today by improving how they swiftly respond to fire incidents is another satisfying work assignment...no joy compared with helping the weak, the young, the elderly improve their confidence and preparedness when fire strikes. Financial gains cant be compared. As you can see in the pictures, multinationals in Nigeria are fully coming on board and my products are no threat to the Conventional C02/DCP Cylinder extinguishers...rather they are complimentary. Firecom Handheld and Soteria are portable and handy for all ages to handle and use safely. They are far more effective and reliable. Requires no refills or no regular maintenance...hence saves you huge money. Most importantly, they are zero ozone depleting and zero Global Warming substances...hence a way to fight fire responsibly...preserving the climate for our childrens children.
