The Kyrgyz Embassy in DC is having a contest of childrens drawings by children of Kyrgyzstan living in the United States and Canada, dedicated to the international childrens day. The competition will take place until May 20, 2014 years among children in three age categories: up to 5 years, from 5 to 10 years, from 10 to 14 years. They write, To participate, the child must draw and send a picture on the following themes: Kyrgyzstan or my family. Drawings should be sent to the Kyrgyz Embassy, 2360 Massachusetts Ave., N.W., Washington, DC, 20008, on paper, in any format, although we recommend the format 15 * 11 inches/43 * 28 cm. The results of the competition will be announced by June 1. Prizes from Kyrgyzstan await the winners (national souvenirs, costumes, musical instruments, books about Kyrgyzstan). The childrens drawings will be left at the Embassy for exhibiting at the Embassy. We invite you to participate in our contest.
