The NHS Be Clear on Cancer campaign aims to raise awareness of the symptoms of lung cancer and to help improve early diagnosis of the disease. Lung cancer is the most common cause of death from cancer for both men and women in England, and claims around 28,000 lives every year. It has one of the lowest survival rates of any cancer because over two-thirds of patients are diagnosed at a late stage, when treatment that could cure is no longer possible. More lives could be saved if people were diagnosed at an earlier stage. Do you know the signs? Be Clear on Cancer nhs.uk/lungcancer
