The Next Step Shelter Campaign Last night we announced the launch of O.S.C.A.R.s “The Next Step” Shelter Campaign. It’s mission is to raise enough funds to turn a local building into a rescue facility equipped with a minimum of 28 dog kennels and 12 cattery cages. Our goal is to raise $500,000. These funds will be raised through a combination of volunteer-led fundraising events as well as paid sponsorships. The sooner we raise the funds, the faster we can start saving more lives. We added a page to our website for the campaign. This page includes a conceptual blueprint of the place we will one day call home as well as a list of all sponsorship opportunities and “Sponsorship Form”. Every dollar helps get us closer to our goal. Tonight was a very special night for us. We got to share the wonderful news about Dottie’s adoption.
