The OHS has an extraordinary volunteer opportunity for those with patience, compassion, and time! The Leadership Education with Adolescents and Dogs (LEAD) program is recruiting volunteers. This powerful program matches at-risk youth in our community with adoptable dogs in our shelter and allows the youth to become dog trainers for their furry partners. The youth gain meaningful experience and skills, and the dogs become more adoptable by learning basic obedience and some tricks!
