The PEACE of GOD For this cause I will say, this Peace that surpasses all human understanding must be born in the hearts and the minds of the true and the faithful before they can extend this Peace externally. But if you will allow this Peace to be born within you, and fulfill that which was requested by the Spirit through the Scripture, ‘Let the Peace of GOD rule within you’ when this shall have been accomplished within you as individuals, you can and will be able to transmit your Message of Peace to others. When you shall have transmitted it to others, as it is contagious, they will be partakers of it, and they too will be expressers of your contagion, and become to be also reincarnators and personifiers of the same. This is the Work of this Peace Mission. We mean to have universal Peace by firstly bringing it into action among ourselves as individuals and establishing it upper mostly in our consciousness as a Standard, and living thus accordingly, PEACE is the Watch word! PEACE is the Key to all of the Mysteries, but give Thanks while having this Peace. Even though you have not received the visible expression of it, the Peace that surpasses all human understanding is within these walls, —not only within these walls but this Peace is external, without the borders of these walls wheresoever I am and wheresoever I am going. —FATHER DIVINE January 31, 1936
