The Philippines is probably one of the most nature devastated area in the world. Typhoons. Monsoon rains. Floodings. Earthquakes. Tsunami. Soil erosions and landslides. This happens year after year from time immemorial. THAT WE ARE BLESSED WITH ABUNDANCE allows us to rise after each debacle. THAT OUR SPIRITS ARE FULL OF GENEROSITIES AND CAPABLE OF RISING BEYOND OURSELVES make it bearable. THAT GODS SPIRIT lives in His people makes us bear all these, knowing HE CARES FOR US ALWAYS. Our propensity to pull ourselves down, in our body politics and economy, as well as politics, not counting the bloody turmoils around us, is a monument to our own follies: we are capable of shooting our own foot amidst all the abundance around us. Without those problems we could be the richest and strongest country in the world.
