The Poverty Goal of The Humanity Project is to make sure that everyone has something to eat and that all basic human needs are met. Had a meeting today with a very open minded progressive ethical company that also wants change in society that will benefit us all. In the last week we have had 4 companies express concern that our projects may be taking away from other organizations. People that want change are in it for the right reasons, and people that want things to stay the same dont want to lose their piece of the pie. We have also been told that us or myself(Charlie) saying that people dont donate because they do not know where the money goes, dont see a real change, and dont believe in making someone rich when you are suppose to be helping people are incorrect statements and we should not say that. It has also been brought to our attention by a few different organizations that when tax time comes and we share our physical receipts with our members it may cause some issues in the community. We DO NOT take Government funding and we NEVER will. The Humanity Project is supported by the people for the people, our first meeting will be open to the public as 8 people sitting around a table do not always have the right ideas or may be unaware of alternative ideas out there. We will always show our members where YOUR money goes and if that is threatening to anyone then we would suggest you do the same. We want 100% TRANSPARENCY as it is a safe guard against greed and any member becoming jaded for their own personal interest. We are not here to hurt any other Non-Profit,Charity,Company, Government or Corporation. We are here to help and assist you, but do not be confused that if you are in it for the wrong reasons we will call you out on it as we should be called out on any misuse of the Publics trust as well. Complacency is never the answer for change and only keeps things staying the same. The new initiative we will be working on and supporting 100% Will not help the Humanity Project but will help EVERY person in this city that needs the help. There will be no reason for hungry children, seniors, or anyone else as there is no reason for it now. After a few more hoops get jumped though we will announce the details as this will take a lot of community support, but will make a change unlike anything this city has seen before.
