The Redskins are wrapping up interviews for Defensive Coordinator...current Redskins secondary coach Raheem Morris had his interview today. If I am Jay Gruden? I am hiring a coach that can help me navigate the head coaching hurdles and challenges. Experience on this staff is a must if Jay wants to survive another season. Going with Raheem Morris wont guarantee production. This defense needs to be prepared and held accountable. Thats not Morris personality. Wade Phillips? Yes. Eric Mangini? Absolutely. This hire is either going to hold Gruden down or lift him above, but will he have the power to hire the veteran coach.....stay tuned.
