The Rising Of His Thirsty Ones! by Julie Price on June 27, 2014 There’s an army rising up! This army is thirsty for Him! They are thirsty for victory! They are ready to take the land! The remnant of the Lord is rising in this hour! These are those who have sought Him and persevered against all odds. These are you! The Body of Christ has been in a season of preparation. The Lord has been calling His church to return to it’s first love. He’s pulling a church out of the church. For those who have yielded to the drawing of Holy Spirit during this time, you are about to break forth like the sun. ~The remnant is rising!~ You’re coming out of your season of preparation. This season has not been an easy one, but it’s going to produce much fruit! Many have been in a time of brokenness; where yielding to His ways and His plans was the only way out, but you did it! You didn’t deny Him! You did not compromise! You have survived many battles, that many times seemed against all odds, but you are still standing! Hope is rising! In Judges 7, Gideon’s army is reduced to 300 men by the word of the Lord. The Lord tells Gideon to take his army down to the water and He would test them there. Those who lapped the water by putting their hands to their mouths were ready to advance for the Lord. Oh they were His thirsty ones indeed! They knew how to find refreshing from the water, but they weren’t just drinking. It wasn’t just about them. They were still on assignment. They were watching for any advancement of the enemy (the Midianites) as they drank. In other words, they weren’t just “in it” for them. They were generals. They were determined. They were focused on more than themselves. The rest of Gideon’s army was left behind; either by their own fears, or their lack of readiness. When they came to the water, they knelt down and drank with no concern for the enemy, their fellow soldiers; only themselves. Beloved, it doesn’t matter what odds you are up against! God is about to release His remnant to arise and take the land, to defeat every foe, to overcome and advance His kingdom! ‘Greater is He that is in you! ‘ It’s time to take the land! Like Gideon’s army, you have been well-trained. You are ready to advance and overcome! You are thirsty, and you are ready! As you drink in more and more of His presence, you will advance as His army to victory. You are His front line generals. You will protect and you will advance the army of the Lord in this hour! Amen!
