The School of Life The School of Life documentary was created by San Francisco State students to help bring social awareness to the NGO, non-profit organization The School of LIfe based in Semarang, Central Java, Indonesia. The School of Life is an organization that helps disabled persons, disabled being defined as disabled mentally, physically, spiritually including abandonment, and/or acts of violence. It is simply a place where those who are not welcome within society are. The organization implements life skills as well as a basic curriculum including art, music, and language. NOTE: Majority of the documentary is in Indonesian. Subtitles provided.
