The Strength of A Tree You can suffocate a rose, but see, a tree can grow around things/ it can constantly adapt to its surroundings/ its also built the strongest, grows the tallest, & lives the longest./ and some never change in ANY season, homie. Lets be honest!/ We literally look UP to the trees, ourselves./ like when our bodies get READY, we RE-LEAVE ourselves/ and some of us are so deeply rooted into our earth,/ the saw of life will try to cut us down But that only works/ for a certain amount of time, cause the things that were growing toward/ makes us want to come back stronger with more branches than before!/ Now you can try to walk away, like you didnt need my help/ but the truth is, I can truly only LEAVE MYSELF!!/ use the rain as a shower & to quench my thirst/ Let the ice condition my body for better or worst/ the sun brings food, after the rain/ each season teaches strength in the time of change!/ More than often, a tree gets pissed on, cut down, etc. Yet they stand without budging and embrace each season with loving & giving branches -Young Midas
