The Truth Detector:: If we were to poll Americans today on the subject of Economics, many would no doubt be uneducated...Not because it is to complex, but rather mis-understood in how the system works,thanks to government intervention.. America is a capitalistic country..The free market system was created by the founding fathers,called Capitalism.."supply and demand",profit and wealth..A stable economy through private ownership that lately, seems to be an impossibility by so many regulations that has become to costly which destroys motivation..it used to be if you wanted to build a factory ,you were free to do so,or be a farmer,now you have to obtain legal authorization to do it..The government,if they wish to do so,they can cap whatever they want to or impose a tax of some kind ..When the supply decreases,the demand increases, therefore the price also increases..We are knee deep in doo-doo,and the collapse of our free market may become the role of this government who mandates how smart(educated) we are on this issue...
