The United States Navy was joined Monday night by 5 Arabic nations in bombing ISIL targets in Syria, Now, as you may know the House, under the control of Republicans, lead by Speaker John Boehner have all fled Washington to campaign without discussing our military chasing ISIL across the Iraq border into Syria. So, president Obama used the permission he believes was already on the books from the Bush invasion of Iraq to hunt the ISIL terrorists in Syria. Now, we know when the tea nut Republicans return from campaigning, they will with little doubt accuse the President of over stepping his authority, especially if something goes wrong, like if one of our planes is shot down or one of our pilots is captured. I think Mr. Obama should call the Congress back to Washington and forced them to vote on any further military actions against ISIL that does involve the security of our interests in Iraq and here at home. It should be crystal clear by now to President Obama that these tea party nut controlled Republicans; do not and will not have his back, no matter the cause. They will blame him for not going after ISIL and blame him for abusing his executive powers if he does. So, just as he yielded to the screams from Republicans that he had no authority to bomb Assad without congressional approval, he should do likewise about running after ISIL in Syria. Because just as the right wing and other know-nothings blame him today for backing down from attacking Syria, he will face the same criticisms over going after those ISIL barbarians. I hope the President will not allow those hypocrite Republicans to play the Pontius Pilot scheme, because they will do just that. Call the demagogues back Mr. President.
