The World Trade Organization is a direct threat to the national sovereignty of the United States and a pure violation of the United States Constitution. The US Constitutions Commerce Clause (Article I, Section 8, Clause 3) declares that only the Federal Government (Congress) has the power to regulate trade between Nations! Not a transnational body, with its own mind and interests that contradict the national interests of the American Nation! Unfortunately, both Republicans and Democrats are Pro-WTO (they profit from its decisions geared towards the interests of the wealthy few and their multinational corporations).
