The Young Actors Program is the first of three levels being offered in our new theatre education programs. It is an eight week course and begins Tuesday, September 30th, and will be taught by Mr. Cam Oates. This program is meant as an introductory program to Performance Art. Students will take part in games and activities geared towards enhancing their performance skills and focusing their energy. Role-playing and expression are a primary focus of the program, while it also incorporates song and dance. This process culminates with a of public performance after the last class. Registration to ‘The Young Actor’s Company’ includes a ticket to ‘Elly’s Emotions’, taking place between November 20th-22nd at the Gayety Theatre. Program participants will have the opportunity to witness youth actors performing in a professional setting. Registration can be done by calling 705-445-2200
