The aspect i most liked about Modijis US visit was that he addressed the UN General Assembly in HINDI !! Till date most of our aristocratic, nehruvian elitist politicians with their Doon school, St.Stephens and JNU education used to address the world in English!! why?? Bcoz of some false sense of large heartedness where u r supposed to address the world in the worlds language!! so if anyone addressed the world in an indian language they were tagged as narrow minded but when the Germans speak in german or the Spanish speak spanish or the french speak french they r being such nationalists!! and more importantly ..... bcoz our colonial minds still suffer frm an inferiority complex where speaking an indian language is something neech and being able to speak english(especially with a fake accent) is a status symbol!! it is about time someone introduces the world to Indias glorious linguistic heritage!!
