The average American lacks the real information to make a valid assessment of this crisis, such as since 9-11 the numbers of refugees (NOT economic immigrants) fleeing to the US has actually been in decline, with a small uptick that still has not reached pre 911 levels!!!! !!!! So why is this issue NOW a crisis? Perhaps because the GOP are attempting to publically create a crisis that would generate public pressure on the President, because the GOP have a major pork wish list in the new defense/pentagon budget, which includes more funds for border security and maintaining military bases (which the President has proposed downsizing) in states along the borders...places where the GOP plan would be warehousing these refugees....and we know who always gains the most economic benefits from those portions of our budget, the military industrial complex, the ones who fund the GOP! The devil is ALWAYS in the details, and the new NDAA budget is full of the devil!!!!!!
