The best spiritual practice is to do your best to let go of the incessant inner commentary and enjoy being quiet now, and now and now. Mindfulness is applying this quietude as we go about the activities of the day. Inquiry is inwardly turning and quietly noticing who is experiencing these activities in the first place. Meditation is a time and space for a more earnest practice of being quiet - one which leads beyond time and space. This can feel hard to begin with, but like with anything else, it gets easier and easier as it comes along. In the process, life flows smoother and smoother, and all inner resistance starts falling away. Everything appears bright and feels just right.
