The earth is singing his praise the heavens is rejoicing in his valor. Saint Padre Pio as he is popularly called is a sign of God to our generation. Our saint was born on 25 May 1888, in Pietrelcina, Benevento Italy. He was a Frair, priest stigmatic and mystic. He was born into the family of Forgione, he took the name Pius or Pio when he joined the Capuchins. His parents were peasants, he became an altar boy at a tender age. At the age of five he had already made the decision of dedicating his entire life to God. He started by inflicting penances to himself, his mother chided him for using stone aol make a pillow and sleeping on the stone flour. He entered Capuchins and become a priest in that Order. He was a wonder worker and a controversial man, he was favoured with many gifts by God such as Healing, Biolocation, levitation, prophecy etc, he died on 23 September 1968. Saint Pio the Great, pray for us. Amen
