The easiest way to hurt Putin is to open all our oil fields and flood the world oil market with cheap oil lower the price to the point it hurts Russia drastically. Do the same with national gas, we have a larger supply than the middle east so use it to our advantage. Putin could counter with the help of China and take the US dollar out as the world reserve currency. You have to have the stones to do this, but it could work and be effective. But then again we have the weakest president in the history of our country. He would rather wage war on the US citizens.
