The eighth performer on my list may not be exactly Croatian but hey, we all listen to him and love him and buy or steal his music so he might as well be. Besides, this is my list isnt it? Did I tell you that you are among the very exclusive few who get to see any part of my list? The data is from my list of the top 1000 Croatian YouTube Channels. It came about because a year or so back Nenad Bach included me in a research project about Croatian radio stations. Somewhere in there the idea came up for doing a spreadsheet on as many of the Croatian YouTube channels as we could find. It hasnt been easy. There is no single place to find everyone. There are channels which disappear and others which arise regularly. I believe I have the most extensive list on the planet. Glas Hrvatske doesnt have this list. Dallas Records (official page) doesnt have the list. Croatia Week doesnt have the list. Cro Rec doesnt have the list. The Croatian Embassy in Washington D.C. doesnt have the list. The Americans dont exactly know who we are so even though NSA sticks its nose in everywhere, if they have it they dont know what it is. Even YouTube doesnt know who is who. But I do, and now Im sharing part of it with you. Have I told you that by the end of the year the total views for Croatians would wide will be around 4 Billion? Yep. Four Billion. Anyway, back to our number eight performer. Halid Bešlić ranks number eight on my chart and he is among those who have been rising rapidly this past year. Mr Bešlić was born in 1953 in Bosnia.
