The entire Corporations are Persons is a foisted insanity. First of all, a Corporation is a legal construct. And its primary mandate, by law, is to increase Shareholder Wealth. It exists as a Person entirely on paper. It has no soul no individual human consciousness ... It is not driven by moral or ethical considerations (unless of course, in those VERY rare cases, it happens to be a corporate entity which is steered that way by actual human persons who hold such values, and even then, only because a majority of human shareholders and human Board of Directors consent to such considerations and direction). A Corporation cannot vote in any election. But, thanks to SCOTUS, they can pour tons of money into attempts to sway the outcome of an election. Also, in the modern era of GLOBAL Corporations, Americans must begin to realize that MANY Shareholders in these Corporate Persons are FOREIGN Shareholders.. And so, why should Non-Americans anywhere be allowed to participate as a Corporate Person in affecting the outcome of an Election in our Country or any Legislative Outcomes...? And now, SCOTUS will consider Corporate Persons Religious considerations and concerns...? This is Crazyland... We should consider that...
