The fitness industry can sometime perpetuate simpleminded myths of blame. For example, if you wanted a great body, you would stop eating crap food and youd go out and train for it. Or worse if you keep sabotaging yourself, you lack character and will power. Nobody asks the question: Why would anyone want to do themselves harm by sabotaging themselves? It takes curiosity to find the answer to that question, and judgemental people always lack curiosity. I would like to do a bi-weekly post on helping get you to be that girl. The girl who: a)lost all their weight (baggage) and became at peace with their body, b) did an amazing transformation (perhaps both body and life) and maintained it, c) surprised everyone maybe including themselves and made it to stage or d) improved their sense of self, gained some confidence and no longer had food control issues. Some posts that go beyond getting you to write some goals down, and then training for them. Not a blog on getting the right program and diet. Noooo because it will require more than that. Some posts that will help you with your internal battle. Because if you want to be lean and you arent, then you have some kind of inner conflict that must be resolved or you wont achieve it. And I would like to help you unmask your inner conflict. This might be enlightening, funny, painful all at once as learning what is going on inside you can be difficult but its invigorating and the rewards are enormous. So what shall I put at the headings of these two bi-weekly posts - It girl? And whos in? Happy Monday FIO....
