The ignorant people of the news have yet again skewed the words of a renowned scientist and caused the lazy people of America to believe it. Stephen Hawking was recently quoted on the news to have said There are no black holes. So now people everywhere are saying things like Did you know that black holes actually dont exist?. If anyone actually listened to Hawkings entire lecture, they would know how stupid they are for just believing what they hear. What Hawking actually said was The absence of event horizons means there are no black holes in the sense of regimes from which light cant escape to infinity. There are, however, apparent horizons which persist for a period of time. Yeah, sounds pretty different doesnt it? The news needs to hire some people who actually get their stories correct, and Americans need to stop being idiots. Black holes still exist. They always have.
