The last of the massive Mellon art collection has been gifted to our friends at the National Gallery of Art. Andrew W. Mellon and his children, Paul and Ailsa, amassed an outstanding collection of impressionist and post-impressionist art, which now resides in our National Gallery. Intimate Impressionism from the National Gallery of Art, currently on view, is largely comprised of paintings from this illustrious familys collection, including small but masterful works by Monet, Degas, Renoir, and Van Gogh. buzz.mw/b0zn8_n
