The lead story in todays Sunday Star Times has SPCA boss Bob - TopicsExpress

The lead story in todays Sunday Star Times has SPCA boss Bob Kerridge saying some races other than his own dont look after their animals and consequently their dogs attack other people. He is clearly racially prejudiced, as the Auckland City Council Auckland Council animal management manager Tracey Moore says the city is home to more than 180 ethnicities and it is not one particular ethnicity that is taken to prosecution over a dog attack, nor are new migrants over-represented. The issue is more to do with people who do not fully consider that they are responsible for their dog and its actions, including the need to choose a breed suitable for their lifestyle and the need to train and socialise their dog. We do note that this may be more prevalent in lower socio-economic groups, but is not restricted to those groups. Shame on you Mr Kerridge for not checking your facts before you attack other races.
