The main threat for Severe Storms shifts from the South of the State to the East tomorrow (Saturday) #Brisbane #Mackay #Gympie #QLDStorms #SEQ The main trough is remaining over Central and Southern QLD tomorrow, and still extending South into NSW. So for our Sydney followers, its another day of Storms for you. However, in QLD an Upper Trough is going to direct the Extreme Instability towards the Coastline and this will give a more favourable environment for Storm development. SEQ/NENSW: Storms are likely again tomorrow anywhere from Rockhampton to Grafton, with some of these likely to become Severe. These Storms are more than likely going to pop up along the Great Dividing Range in the early afternoon and head in a South-East direction. Thanks to the Northerlies, Heavy Rain is likely with these Storms. Damaging Winds and Large Hail are both minor risks. Central QLD (Rockhampton to Townsville): Storms are likely to become Severe through this area too, extending inland to Emerald. Storms are likely to track towards the North-East. Large Hail and Damaging Winds are more likely through the Central Highlands and inland from Townsville, while all areas should expect Heavy Rain. Remember! If its flooded, forget it! Weve seen huge hourly totals today, and theres just as much chance we see these again tomorrow.
