The most profitable retailer in world history regularly asks its workers to donate food to a Thanksgiving fund for their own workers. Almost 1 million of their 1.4 million workforce makes less than $25,000 per year. Wal-Marts 4 top heirs own more wealth than the bottom 40% of all Americans combined. Many Wal-Mart workers rely on taxpayer provided govt assistance/Medicaid for their children. Who says Charles Dickens is no longer relevant? As shoppers we have market power. On Nov 29th, please use it! Its good for these working people and good for our economy.
