The other day I mentioned most the parables are about Christians - TopicsExpress

The other day I mentioned most the parables are about Christians not the unbelieving. From the feedback I am of the understanding that because most of the parable talks about hell fire, most people assume it is talking about the unbelievers and. Whereas it is talking about believer The Parable of the Fishing Net: Matthew 13:47-52 The Parable of the 10 virgins: Matthew 25:1-13 The Parable of Tares and Wheat: Matthew 13:24-30 The Parable of Talents aka Unprofitable Servant: Matthew 25:14-30 All these are about the church and nothing else. Pitching Christian against the unbelievers often ends maintaining the pews but not necessary developing the church. In fact our soul focus in the church should be preparing every single person not for heaven but for the work of the ministry (as the latter encompasses the former, but the former does not encompass the latter - Parable of the Talent: Matthew 25:14-30). Sinlessness is not the only requirement for heaven. The fulfillment of your ministry is also a requirement, or pray tell me what is the parable of the talent about ?
