The problem being faced by many schools is that there is a lack of Specialized Student Support Services Personnel to adequately support inclusion within the general education system of Trinidad and Tobago. In order for inclusion to be successful then there needs to be specialized student support personnel available for each student with a disability within the general education system. Unless this is done then, the students who are within the system and receiving little or no support will continue to be unsuccessful at their academic endeavours
