The process of applying for a grant from GECC for our planned IPD - TopicsExpress

The process of applying for a grant from GECC for our planned IPD 2015 festival has begun! We need people to get involved - can you present a workshop? Help out & volunteer to be a dogs body? Refer others to get involved? The plans run along these ideas - Working title - Living Sustainably in the City of Glen Eira - Introduction to Urban Permaculture Events/workshops for - beekeeping, chickens/ducks/other fowl, food gardening/food forests on a typical suburban block, balcony/courtyard food gardening, composting & worm farming, sustainable home retrofits & designs, community gardens possibilities with schools (as there is no open space available in GECC from council), other areas such as choosing environmentally friendly utilities & products ... Would love to be able to do earth building but would depend on a suitable site (perhaps a school/kindy would be interested in being involved in having a pizza oven or something simple). Bicycle maintenance. Movie sessions - Dirt! The Movie, The Story of Stuff, Queen of the Sun. We hope to have Rotary of Caulfields Bee Aware group & the GE Environmental and bicycle groups involved if possible.
