The quarterback at Northwestern University has started to organize college football players in order to form a union to get some of the millions of dollars that the colleges benefit from. It has been talked about in the past but the quarterback is opening up Pandoras box for all the players that provide the entertainment but feel that the colleges are taking advantage of the players. If college sports do unionize you can picture the Republicans being against anything in the way of a union that could bring thousands of college kids into something that Republicans fear. We need to follow this and maybe make this a way to get unions involved in the election in 2014.
