The rains finally came and more chances continue through Monday. I received 1.2 inches so far just north of Hopkinsville. There is already a noticeable greening of the grass and you can almost hear the earth say Ahh. Cooler and less humid air moves in by the middle of next week. This has not been a very hot summer and I am wondering what this may mean as we go into fall. We shall see. A Thought; We need only look up if we wish to feel small. When we look up, it widens our horizons. we see what a little speck we are in the universe, so insignificant, and we all take ourselves so seriously. But in the sky, there are no boundaries. No differences...since we are all traveling this road of life together according to the will of the Creator. As for my part in all this, Ill figure out how to be truer: to let people go if they need to be let go of, and to hold on tight if thats whats called for. I will pay attention, so I can touch each human heart that comes across my path, touch it as true as I can. Mortal as I am, I know that I am born for a day I will move on. Until then...I will remain as a Watchman and try to do my small part for my fellow man. May you all rest well my friends .
