The realities of Amazon... And the Kindle world! First the only way to do a kindle is through amazon, and as they so worldly established one has no choice. Kindle is the new great thing! And I do understand way, it does have its practicalities for the consumer but what about the writer? Printing we all know is expensive so to keep price down one cant really make much money if any at all selling it. On the other hand when you get a real paper copy it does have a magical feel that kindle will never copy, including the design. But as a kindle, there is no printing, no paper, not really any cost! Ok except for all the software to be updated and kept working and surely some administration. We understand that! So when Amazon ask to keep 30% of what is going for, we accept it. But when we get our first payment and realise they took about another 30% now saying they withholding this amount! Apparently for Tax!? What does one really have to pay this amounts for? They dont even pay their tax, who is believing any of this money is going to any tax?! So in the end they making more then 60% on something they have done nothing for, except being a platform for it being sold. I am shocked! And sad! But let this not spoil the wonder of how wonderful my book is. So keep talking about it! The seven lies of the Human Race the book to read in 2014 :)
