The rear end in the Giulietta sounded like a Bridgeport cutting a piece of titanium. It was getting so loud you couldnt hear the engine over the whine. Today I installed an upgraded rear end from a later, low mileage 105 series car, with new bearings and seals. The job isnt a terribly hard one but she fought me on a couple of things. I ended up spending close to 12 hours on the project. Bottom line, the new rear end is 1000% better. I still have some work to do but its nice to know that the cost and effort was worth it.
