The rift in LDF has forced RSP, left ally, to contest Lok Sabha Election alone. CPI M fields PB member M A Baby as candidate in Kollam. CPI M has rejected the request of RSP to give them Kollam seat to contest. RSP is powerful in Kollam. Kovur Kunhumon and A A Azeez are two RSP MLAs from Kollam districts. Kindly urge UDF leadership to hold discusdions with RSP and ensure that UDF and RSP field a candidate acceptable to both UDF and RSP. We can either support RSP leader Premachandran if RSP is ready to quit LDF or ensure their support to Congress party in Kollam.
