The second place Jesus shed is Blood Isaiah 53:5 and John 19:1 for our healing 2. The whipping post He took 39 stripes, Pilate took Jesus and had Him scourged. He was wounded for our transgression, bruised for our iniquities. The have net of our peace was on Him, with His stripes we are healed. 1 Peter 2:24 His own self bare our sin in His body on that tree thAt we are dead to sin. So that we may live righteous/stripes healed which makes this the healing Blood of mental, emotional and physical hurts. He didnt come out of the tomb all bloody and bleeding still. No He came out healed. A reference is john 3:16-17. Jesus went thru being beaten and nailed to the cross opened the door for healing from our sin to His sacrifice. Jesus heals by forgiving sin but also He heals the mental and emotional hurts both here with this Blood shed. Jesus didnt have to suffer in His body for our sins. He only had to shed His Blood and die for our sins, so His spirit didnt have to be in His body for the scourging but to save our bodies it took His body. His body suffered and was bruised for us in a number of ways. 1. The crown 2. The beating 3. The wounds and the pain and agony so that through His, He could also atone for our sickness. Atone, net means a payment that has already been made. Jesus has bought our spirit with His Blood and we are saved but He bought our bodies with His suffering so if youve been sick and need healing claim by your faith and this is why you are healed. He also carried His own cross to His death to show that He alone carries our sins or burden. He had the weight of the world on His shoulders, upon Him and still tells us that His load is light. He alone took the pain of His flesh t die to self and be there for what He knew He had come come, to die to self and proceed with Gods plan by His death it made us right. So that we may die to sin with Christ to be raised up again when we accept Christ in His righteousness not because anything we do but because of he Blood He shed for us.
