The very quality that David Granger has attracted criticism for, an almost tepid and genteel approach to leading the political opposition, is the very reason that the PPP/C wants him out of the leadership. Its hard to sync the usual picture of the aggressive, violent black bogeyman with blood on his hands when it comes to the well-spoken, trim, grandfather-like gentleman with the Chinese wife. True, PNC needs desperately to get its house in order as does the collective opposition but the PPP have been denied a critical propaganda weapon by virtue of Grangers very personality.
